MCN Live, the student-produced
live news broadcast of Mercer County Community College, has been
awarded Honorable Mention in the Cable News Category at the 2005
Communicator Awards.
The Communicator Awards
is an international awards competition that recognizes outstanding
work in the communication field. Entries are judged by industry
professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent
exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a
benchmark for the industry. There were 3,059 entries from throughout
the United States and five other countries in the Communicator Awards
2005 Video Competition. Honorable Mention is granted to those entries
that meet the high standards of the industry. Eight percent of all
entries received this honor.
MCN Live expanded to

Jennifer Joyce and Kelly Capers and were broadcast
under the direction of Wilmar Luna. The on-air teams consisted
of Sharon Seaman, Christopher Curto, Kelly Capers,
